Trying to find a hiding place for presents when I knew you and your sisters were really looking hard. I remember hearing, many years later, how you and your sis opened up several gifts early and then re-wrapped them very carefully, so that no one would know...

Making tons and tons of luminaries with the RISCers and then lighting them as a family while everyone was at the 5:30 Children's Mass. You loved the idea that people would walk out of Mass and not know how the luminaries got lit...our little family secret! And, it was SO beautiful a sight.

so many memories...pj almost burning off his eyebrows blowing out the advent candles; decorating the house with christmas music playing; watching pj open that perfect gift you got him; fighting over who got to open the advent calendar door each day; jumping on the trampoline together and making up games; playing air hockey together outside...

"THANK YOU SO MUCH," said PJ every Christmas morning, in awe and amazement that he really got what he wanted...a Nintendo 64 one year, a GoPed one year, and always Tutles....

New memories are made every moment of every day - and now, we are making new memories without you - or at least the physical you - because you are always so close to us - even now.

* standing on top of the trampoline box not even realizing that was our gift!

* playing air hockey for hours after we found that gift

* riding our bikes around the neighborhood and checking out what other friends got

So, it's nearly Halloween again...almost the 3 year mark of when you starting using big time...what a thing to remember.

Well, this will be the 2nd Christmas without you...you really did love Christmas, taking pictures, opening up all the gifts and checking to make sure you got the same number of presents as everyone else...even when you were 22! I will miss you, again, this year. Love you.
